What do you want people to know about you: Austin Santiago received “Ready To Die” by The Notorious B.I.G at the age of 3 as a birthday present from his mother. He developed a true love and curiosity for Hip Hop music extremely young. This lead him to start rapping at the age of 9. At the time he wanted to get one up on his favorite artist: The Notorious B.I.G. As he kept falling into different creates. Rewinding cassette decks. And collecting every Hip Hop CD he came across. By his adolescents, Austin realized he had fallen in love with Hip Hop. After his mother told him to write out his pain due to her health issues & problems within his family. Austin found himself 20 composition notebooks full of raps by age 19. Each line displaying a reminisce to some of the greats he studied closely. Present day, Austin finds himself fully submerged in Connecticut’s underground Hip Hop scene. With one of the most heavy flows, raw lyrics, and jazz infused trap beats. Austin is on the rise. As not only one of the most unique artists, but one of the most underrated coming out of CT’s forever growing melting pot of Hip Hop Artist.
Where can people find your music: Apple, Spotify, SoundCloud, Youtube
Why should people support your music career: I think people should support my music career because I have a lot more in store & my story will be told through the music. I just hope your willing to take this journey with me. And follow this story till its final chapter.

Houston Clark Live Performance
Strictly Bidness Presents "School of Rap"
September 14, 2019 Berlin, CT
The venue (Pine Loft) is out of the way, it's not easy to find even with GPS which added to the anticipation of the night. I was not impressed until I went upstairs and got a full view of the stage, small and intimate, a real challenge for any performer.
Houston Clark arrived around 9:30PM, greeting people as he found his way to the back of the venue, watching the other performers do their thing until it was his time to hit the stage.
He is soft spoken, very easy to look at, with heartfelt songs that make you feel a variation of emotions. Watching Houston perform, my mind wandered between the actual performance and a desire to learn more about what he was going through when he wrote the lyrics to these songs.
Performance wise I feel I got what anyone can expect from a showcase performance, a small taste of Houston Clark in a intimate setting. After his performance he got a warm response from a pretty hardcore crowd which was impressive. I did not expect him to get received so well which speaks a lot to his talent and ability to connect with his audience.
I think Houston Clark is a artist who is worth watching because there is so much to experience when listening to his music. To learn more, you can click on the link OR follow him on Instagram: Houston Clark

Artist name:
Shako Speel, which is short for Shaquille O'Spielberg.
From:
West Los Angeles, California! Born and raised.
Type of music:
I make music that encapsulates a graceful rebel soul.
Smooth, melodic, soulful, filthy RAP.
A rapper's rapper and an asset to our culture, by all means.
Length of time as an artist:
I wrote my first song in 2008, didn't write another until 2011 and didn't start taking the craft seriously until 2016. I now fully understand my role within the art form.
Want people to know:
Vibe and listen. My intention is not necessarily to teach anyone anything, but more so to introduce you to my thought stream, while questioning life itself. There are solid tidbits of information to pick up from my writing, but it's definitely not my priority. I make music to crave existence. Any positive results, outside of this are merely perks. Is it more effective to call someone stupid, or question their behavior, instead? That's me.
What makes me unique:
I subscribe to the philosophy of being unaccepting of the notion that we are all truly unique. This life is a human experience. We are all humans and form common behavioral patterns. That being said, what makes the music I make unique, I would chalk up to the imagery, delivery, instrumental selection and intention. I ain't a fuckin' superhero.
Final message to fans:
To anyone who is TRULY listening, you're the reason I step on stage, record my songs and take the craft seriously. If it wasn't for y'all, I'd hoard it all to myself. Thank you for relating and supporting. Mad love to you!

What kind of music do you create?
My style is primarily a mixture between alternative metal, hip hop/trap, and electronic music. My music can alternate between being heavy and melodic, and is very rhythmic. I make music for anyone who enjoys unconventional sounds and doesn't like to hear the same thing over and over again.
What are your musical influences?
A lot of stuff from the 90's, Deftones was a huge influence on me, as was Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, also trip hop groups like Massive Attack and Portishead. Odd Future and XXXtentacion were big influences in more modern music, also Team Supreme. 80's groups like Depeche Mode and The Cure were also big influences on me. I listen to a lot of different types of music so I could go on about influences.
What makes you unique?
I would say my music is pretty unique in of itself, but I guess thats for the listener to decide. I make music to express how I feel, I'm not afraid to express things through my music which others may find objectionable. Some themes in my music people may find offensive but the way I see it if they don't like it, they don't have to listen to it, and what one person hates, usually another person loves.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years when it comes to music?
being an established and well known artist with an album or two under my belt.
What do you want people to know about your music?
I never want to just stay in one place with my music. I want my music to be something that is constantly growing and evolving, and is never predictable.
What are your longterm goals?
To be known worldwide

Where are you from and where are you located now?
I was born in Green Cove Springs, Florida, and lived in Jacksonville, Florida, for a while and also spent a lot of time in St. Augustine, Florida, during the summers.
But I became what I think of as a sentient being in Macon, Georgia, where I still live and work and serve as the official music ambassador.
Macon is a true music city as we are the home of incredible musicians like Otis Redding, The Allman Brothers, Little Richard, Jason Aldean, Wet Willie and many more!
What kind of music do you make?
LOL, that is the $64,000 question isn’t it:-) As a full time producer, I am behind the wheel of multiple genres and I love it. With my clients, I am able to assist them to find their artistic voice and help them establish a brand.
For myself, it gets a little more complicated. I love music and don’t believe in musical boundaries. However, you do have to figure out who your target audience is and how to reach those folks. So, I write what I write and just express myself however I wish, but I carefully brand each album.
My most successful album to date, “Mixture”, which reached #9 on the CMJ Top 40 jazz charts in 2013 was an eclectic mix of jazz, from smooth to bebop. My current album, “In The Shadow Of The Sun”, is what we are calling “Progressive Americana” and has a heavy blues influence as did my previous 2016 release “Six String Soldier”.
Why did you start making music and when did you decide you wanted to make it a career?
---JS
I was a very sick child as the result of a brain tumor. The tumor took my eye sight and provided me with a host of opportunities to overcome physical challenges which I still fight daily. So when I was 13, I heard old time radio shows and thought “I could make those sound effects for radio, TV and film”, and the sound engineer in me was born.
It wasn’t until around 17 when I first recorded a local band in my home studio and heard that first local original song that I knew that music was how I wanted to share my life and story with the world. I have never had another job that wasn’t audio or music related since age 15.
I moved to Macon at 15 and got my first job at the local planetarium and that is how the local music community learned that I had some very primitive recording gear. So, I started getting paid to work with sound at age 15 and started playing music around 17 and by 19 I had my own band and a real studio space in a downtown building.
I am now 40-ish and still doing what I love!
What do you want people to know about your music?
---JS
I believe in the power of music to change lives! I think it is an art form that has no boundaries and is the closest thing to the language of the angles that mere mortals will ever know.
My only real desire is to leave the world a little better than I found it and I am content to do so one song and one person at a time.
I believe in working hard and being an expert and true craftsman at whatever you do. For me, that is music so there is a lot of blood, sweat and tears in every note we record or perform.
My show is about 70% music and about 30% comedy and I haven’t had a show yet where a music enthusiast has left disappointed.
My music is also eclectic and full of what I call “sassitude” and usually has a lyrical content that is somewhat sarcastic, but also truly reflective.
Most of all, even if you don’t like what I do—and no ones music or art is for everyone—I think you can at least respect the obvious effort that I put into every note.
What do you feel makes you unique?
---JS
Interesting question. We are all unique and I am unique by virtue of not being someone else:-). Mostly I think it is that I am unafraid of being myself. I love meeting new people and going new places and finding out more about this amazing world every day. I love to learn and will learn until I shuffle off this mortal coil:-) I work hard and am highly educated, but I also know I can and should be able to learn from anyone no matter where they are in their journey.
I think the most apparent thing that makes me unique is that I live my life openly on stage and am the same person from dusk til dawn on or off stage and I work hard to be the best person and artist I can be, while at the same time giving myself grace to know that perfection isn’t something I will ever achieve, while still pursuing that goal because it is the journey that is the real prize!
Final Message To Fans:
---JS
Thanks for taking time to listen to me wax philosophical:-) Please do sign up for our newsletter in the fan zone at www.joeystuckey.com. We have a lot of free music for you there and you will be able to keep up with all my live shows and more.
If you can, come see us play a live show, we promise to entertain, whatever it takes, including, but not limited to auctioning the drummer off for a romantic evening:-)
Most of all, thanks for your support, without music fans the band and I wouldn’t be able to do what we love!

Hip Hop Artist In His Own Words
Since I was 16, I've been making music.
I started making music because I was influenced by my Uncle who passed away. He use to rap and I really looked up to him, and when he first brought me to a studio I was like 11. I've been motivated ever since. At that point I wanted to make it a career.
I make music for people who are dealing with real life situations and are trying to grow from it. I want people to understand through my music that you can have hard times but you dont have to be a prodcut of it. Instead you can learn lessons from it and level up.
I'm unique because I'm never following a trend or what's popular. I have my own style and sound. I'm a REAL student of hip hop and my goal is to make a classic that the legends will respect.
Message to the fans would be proper preparation prevents poor performance.

What is your artist name?
She started out with Lori Jean, yet is hesitant to keep this name because another artist moved in on her with the exact same name, where this is a problem with combinations of another artist merged into her track listing digitally online. She has started producing under her full legal name of Lori Jean Finnila. She'll see how it goes from there, though Spotify has worked hard and MTV in iTalia with their third-parties to preserve her independent artist presence - recently Spotify referring her to Distrokid publishing platform that gave her back her own iTunes page with her new releases through them under Lori Jean. So a smart move may be to continue iwith Lori Jean with all the new work done for her presence on the web.
Where are you from?
She is originally from New England but lives in the West Coast of Portland, OR.
What kind of music do you make?
Lori Jean loves acoustic guitar, yet she likes to keep up with progressive music and incorporates this into her tracks. She has made some electronic tracks and would love to share at music festivals.
How long have you been making music?
eight years
Why did you start making music and when did you decide you wanted to make it a career?
When Lori Jean would decide to leave music expressing trauma from her pain in her personal life - where it all began, thinking she was too old, someone would drag her back in. She was approached professionally by Factory Fast Records in her 50's, and approached by and successfully collaborated with two successful musicians: one played on FM radio in France and the other regularly touring and has had many radio interviews as well as professional endorsements.
What do you want people to know about your music?
If Lori Jean can change the world with one song, than it's all worth it.
What makes you unique?
Lyrics come fast and biting to Lori Jean.
Final Message To Fans:
Lori Jean will continue to write from her pain and trauma.

Fubbs n’Chubbs is a funk army with a knack for the weird. It all started seven years ago when the two front members Tony Schaffer And Christopher Martin started recording fun songs on Wednesday nights. Between the two of us we have both been playing music since we were young children, and now we have gathered some of the finest musicians in the area to become part of the army. Our brand of music is primarily pop, but there are a lot of elements involved in it. We try to cover every emotional base from the funny, to the funky, to the strange, to the sad, and so on and so forth. So when we say we cross every genre, we truly mean it. We decided to take the plunge and do this full-time after we realized how much positivity we can spread with it!For us it’s not about making $1 million, it’s about making someone truly happy, it comes back to us full circle. We are tucked away in Milan Ohio. That’s about 45 minutes from Cleveland Ohio. So if you’re ever in the area, look us up! Oh that’s right, we have the Internet now Ha ha ha!

My artist name is ROGET which is French.
I am from St. Louis, Missouri.
I am 17 years old.
I mainly make music ranging from R&B to Pop, to Hip Hop, or to Alternative. I like to bring a few different flavors to the mix and create music that I would like to listen to myself, while also aiming for an audience that is ultimately diverse.
I've always been into music, but just started making my own music at the beginning of 2019!
I started making music because I get a feeling that I could never get any where else or doing any other type of occupation. I was inspired at a young age growing up seeing Michael Jackson, Chris Brown, and Justin Bieber grow in or already dominate the music industry and connect with the fans, and I realized I want to have that same impact and interact with many different beautiful people around the world. I strayed away from music for a while at one point and was focusing on football. I was really good at football and was about to start racking up scholarships, but I developed autonomic dysfunction which effects my hear and my nervous system which disabled me to play football properly. I was then just urged to directed back to music and I felt like God pointed me back in this direction, and I now have more passion for music than ever and am now able to make my own songs, write, and have a love I've never even felt for a girl before. I decided wanted to make this a career whenever Vine was really popular around 2015-2016 and I discovered Shawn Mendes. I saw how much of an impact Shawn had on people, how much they cared about his messages, and how he cared even more, to create such an awesome connection and fanbase, while becoming something more than just an average kid singing, he proved that anyone can really make their dreams a reality and life is so short, you have to take chances and trust your heart. My heart feels and burns for music, so I knew from that point on, this is it, I need to do this.
I want people to know that music is for everyone to enjoy, I love to combine old school with new school, as well as singing with rapping. My music is seasonal, meaning I have, and will continue to deliver different songs for different moods, so you can tap in and relate to any mood you're experiencing or feeling, while still relating to the message.
What makes me unique is that my music is clean, as in the sense that I don't curse, don't bring up derogatory terms, or insulting messages. I prove the point that you can still make a song of art, that is not about drugs, women, sex, greed, murder, or any of the common themes you hear on the radio or in mainstream music. I'm also not in any of this for the money, I would tour the world and do shows for free if I was allowed to, just to be able and have a connection with the fans and the people, bringing positive messages. People are so focused on materialistic aspects, when it's about these people in the world who are suffering and quietly crying out, and I try and hush their cries with relatable, honest, music.
My final message to any fans or supporters would be thank you for being with me now, because I know I don't even have a hundred followers yet, but the numbers don't matter, you all who are with me now, will be with me till the end, and you'll meet more brother and sister supporters along the way. I will always connect with, and always appreciate everything you guys do, because many artists take their fans support for granted, so thank you for being with me now, I can't wait until the future so you can see how much we grow

If you asked me, I'd say my ear for melodies, I just want you all to hear the melodies I come up with in my head. I produce them up in a dreamy, retro fashion. Aside from that just my whole emphasis on mental health is a big thing that I haven't seen too many people in the scene championing, it plays a big role in my personal life and is a huge influence to music. I'm not sure if it unique because I'm not aware of every single artist out there in the ether, but basically everyones unique and I'm just doing me. That's unique.
Where do you see yourself in five years when it comes to music?
In 5 years when it comes to music hmmm... I want to continue releasing music so hopefully by then I will have released a few albums and EP's sprinkled in between, I think that's how i'm going to do it. Writing a whole album is tough and I think it's cool to do EP's inbetween, they're like short stories, but for music. It all depends on the idea's that are flowing though, so that could all change. So releasing music andddd I want to have established myself as a touring artist on the growing UK synthwave scene. I find that it predominantly lives and breathes in the online world, but I'd love to be one of the synthwave artists that actually breaks out and plays live, i'm itching to get out there and do my thing. Also there are so many cool people in this scene, I can't wait to get out and meet them all.
What do you want people to know about you and your music?
I want people to know that my music is written about my personal struggles with depression and anxiety. Just how it's affected me over the years, shaping me as a person and just in general what life's like as a person living with a mental illness. I know I'm not the only one out there, but my music is a catharsis for me, it's how I attempt to overcome some of my own anxieties, I guess it's me sticking my neck out, wearing my heart on my sleeve to hopefully feel less alone in this world? I've had a lot of positive feedback from artists in the scene reaching out and I've had some great chats about how they've been affected too. I just want people to realise that they're not alone, I'm trying to encourage myself and also other people that it's okay to be open about your mental health issues as it's an ongoing struggle
. I also write a blog which is centred around getting that stuff out onto the table, in conjunction with my music.
What are your long term goals?
My long term goals? I definitely want to continue pushing mental health awareness, it's something that's so important to me. Who knows what other themes I'll introduce in the future? That's all a work in progress but in the long term, I just want to keep making music that I personally like because it keeps me sane. I'll be happy to know that I've helped people with mental health issues in some way or another, knowing that I've made a positive impact on someones life through my music would mean the world to me, so i guess that's my ultimate long term goal. But my music is also about me trying to keep a healthy mind, I need to do this to stay ahead of my problems.

I go by the name "Big Trexy".
I was born in Budapest, Hungary but lived a few different countries but spent most of my time in Gambia, Africa. However I been staying in the UK for a few years now.
I am 19 years old, I wouldn't really say I make 1 type of music. I like making music based on the way I feel so I tend to describe my music as experimental rap but really I like to just consider myself as an artist. My music goes from chill relaxing and melodic stuff to more rock influenced screamo type music.
I always like being exposed to new and different music so even tho I make experimental rap I have been influenced by many bands and artists from a variety of genres. To name a few - XXXTentation, Lil Peep, Mac Miller, Witt Lowry, Slaves, Neck Deep, Bring me the Horizon and many more.
personally I dont consider myself unique at all as a person. I eat, drink, sleep and bleed just like everyone else. People say the way I dress and look is different in a positive way and I always project positive energy towards anyone I meet.
Music wise people also consider me unique. Due to me moving around a lot I like to think I have absorbed so many cultures and lifestyles within my short life time that I come out with a unique sound in my music. I like to challenge the norm by jumping on a bizarre beat or just write with american slang but with my British voice its adds a twist to the song thats barely heard in mainstream music.
Al tho I believe that having long term goals in amazing and I could say I wanna be you know touring the world and having crazy parties etc I currently am trying to focus on more short term goals I set myself. I obviously wanna create the best music I can for myself and anyone that listens to my music. I wanna continue to find more talented underground individuals to work with, I am not only talking about singer and rappers but also producers, artists, photographers, designers, editors etc.
I wanna start looking into the possibility of releasing clothing that I have designed myself and just enjoy everything I have worked hard for.
I am more or less always on my phone so getting in touch with me is rather simple just drop me a dm on Instagram, Twitter or even soundcloud.
you can find my music on most platforms but I mainly focus on my soundcloud and spotify.
If you want to stay updated with music drops and just me in general the go follow my socials and my Soundcloud and spotify. if not then thanks for reading all this about me. - Trexy

When did you start making music and why?
I started recording music in 2012 which was a year after i matriculated. It was a passion i always had from a young age performing rap songs at school and writing my own music. But it was then i decided that this is what i want to do for the rest of my life because i believed i had the creativity and love for art enough to make the kind of music i feel should be.
What makes you unique? Ever heard of a rapper who uses science as reference for his lyrics and way of presenting art? "Tha KineticG" is derived from the science word "Kinetic" which means a movement or moving object.

What makes you unique?
The only artist doing what I'm doing. I don't create music to please somebody else or to fit
into a style. I make music to express myself, to release my own tensions and inner demons
and to channel a higher piece of myself. Ultimately what sets me apart is the message
embedded in my music and art. I want to wake people up from the matrix, the control system
were all so deeply programmed by. I want people to eat and live healthier, to love themselves
and love each other, to understand, to meditate, to act peacefully and with innerstanding and
acceptance of our differences. My music is my passion but my music is a conduit to a higher
consciousness that I know we can all tap into.

Where do you see yourself in five years when it comes to music?
The Music of Abushady is meant to be real--the direct relay of my human experience--from
the highs to the lows, the happiness and sadness. My music is a culmination of all my
experience and of all the music I've heard in my life. When I create a song I'm never really
sure where it's going to go, I just let the music take me...let the energy flow naturally.
The music is meant to be healing, motivating, and empowering just like the artists that
inspired me so much at a young age and helped me through my hardest times.

What are your long term goals?
Be a strong leader for the youth that the world is missing. The music is my passion but is also
the means to accomplishing the greater goal of affecting the masses. I want to create the
best, most innovative and unique and true to me sound that I can possibly create and In that
process I want to be an inspiration for millions, even billions. I see myself on a number of
world tours, headlining major festivals, and creating legendary albums that stick in kids hearts
for their entire lives and inspires them to do what they love.
